Honoring Those Who Preserve the Character of Waxahachie

Each year, Historic Waxahachie, Inc. recognizes individuals or organizations who demonstrate an outstanding commitment to preserving the historical integrity of our city. Through these awards, we celebrate both leadership in preservation efforts and exemplary restoration or rehabilitation of historic properties.

Historic Preservation Leadership Award

Presented to individuals or organizations whose leadership, advocacy, or significant contributions have advanced historic preservation efforts in Waxahachie.

Historic Preservation Award

Presented to properties that showcase exceptional attention to preservation standards and contribute to the historic fabric of our community.
