Take a self-guided historic tour of the magnificent Ellis County Courthouse in downtown Waxahachie! Pick up your map on the main floor sign-in table, and experience the history held within these walls! Guided tours are also provided during the Christmas Tour of Homes weekend (held on the second weekend of December) and during the Gingerbread Trail Tour of Homes (held on the first weekend in June), and for other special events and for large groups on an ad-hoc basis with advance scheduling as available.
